Hajime Isayama's manga series Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by him. The plot follows Eren Yeager in a world where mankind lives within cities surrounded by massive walls that shield them from gigantic man-eating humanoids known as Titans.
After a Titan causes the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother, he vows to exterminate the Titans.
